My name is Tiberius Wolfgang Schnack, and I started Floor Schnacks in an effort to provide homeowners all around the Midwest the ability to renovate their floors without any anxiety or hassle. I found an interest in home renovating back in 2023 while working in a paint shop helping people pick out colors to match their rooms, and through this I noticed a trend in the influence a floor has on the outcome of their choices. Chasing this realization I started off epoxying floors for various commercial sites, learning the basic in’s and out’s of subfloors and their architectural impact on all the different types of flooring. As I learned I moved more and more into the residential side of things, discovering a fondness for the traditional look of hardwood floors and finding myself most invested in complete and total space renovations; using my commercial toolbelt to diagnose a floor and give it the proper care and attention it needs to make a house feel like a home. As a South Dakota-born Father of two daughters, I understand the discomfort of dealing with big-box companys’ professionals whom you’ve never met and may never see again, and the hesitation that can bring with deciding to redesign your space. That’s why every line of communication at Floor Schnacks is always directly with me; from deciding on the color of your new floor to laying down the last plank, your floor will never be in anyone else’s hands.
